About Criminal Justice...
The Department of Criminal Justice at The University of Louisiana at Monroe is the oldest of its kind in the state. The undergraduate programs began in 1970 and the graduate program began in 1974. In addition to the degree programs, the department provides in-service and continuing education training to law enforcement officers in the northeast Louisiana region, and from surrounding states, through its Institute of Law Enforcement.
What careers have our graduates pursued?
Government (City, Parish/County, State, and Federal), Institutional Corrections, Law Enforcement, Non-Profit Organizations, Probation and Parole
