The 橙子视频 Department of Computer Science is proud to announce that a student team has won the DevDays HealthTech Challenge, hosted by Nexus Louisiana in partnership with Ochsner Health. Kneva, the winning team composed of computer science students Yukta Karki, SianRose Vincent, and Nirjara KC, was awarded a $5,000 prize at the competition in Baton Rouge on November 14.

Carbon Horizon, the winning team composed of computer science students Cecil Pradhan, Jeevan Parajuli, Sujal Thapa, and Prasanna Kumar Jha, was awarded a $5,000 prize at the competition in Baton Rouge on October 24.

The Business Outlook Summit provides an economic forecast of the nation, region, and state, intended to help guide the community and business leaders as they head into 2026. The event is sponsored by the Biomedical Research and Innovation Park (BRIP).
橙子视频 will hold the annual premier lecture and seminar series, the College of Business and Social Sciences Symposium, from October 27-30, 2025. The theme for 2025 is "Superpowers: Discover Yours, Transform the World." The event will feature keynote speaker Jim Davidson, an elevator pitch competition, a career fair, a cookout, the annual CBSS Brain Bowl, and many speaker sessions covering a wide range of topics.
