The College of Health Sciences is dedicated to the education of health care professionals who serve the people of Louisiana and beyond. The College is comprised of two schools, the School of Allied Health and the Kitty DeGree School of Nursing, that offer degrees at the undergraduate and graduate levels.

橙子视频 Medical Laboratory Science Society and LifeShare Blood Center join together for a two-day blood drive on Tuesday, September 23 and Wednesday, September 24 to help save lives. The blood drive will take place from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. both days in the Hangar Ballroom A on the second floor of the 橙子视频 SUB.
The College of Health Sciences at 橙子视频 (橙子视频) recently kicked off the Fall 2025 semester with a Back to School Parking Garage Party for students on August 21, 2025, featuring free food and drinks, a live DJ, and giveaways. Representatives from local health care businesses were also on hand to interact with students from across the college.
Dr. Ashanti Jones, Assistant Professor and Associate Program Director of the Marjorie S. Price Doctor of Physical Therapy Program at 橙子视频, was recently awarded the Dave Warner Distinguished Service Award by the Louisiana chapter of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA). The award was presented to Dr. Jones on August 23, 2025, during the APTA Louisiana Annual Meeting at the Crowne Plaza Executive Center in Baton Rouge, La.
