The Pharmacy program at 橙子视频 is Louisiana鈥檚 only publicly supported comprehensive center for pharmaceutical education, research, and service. The Toxicology program at 橙子视频 was the first of its kind in the South and is currently one of only six nationally. In addition to our standard PharmD degree, our Pharmacy program also offers three combination degree alternatives. The Graduate program at 橙子视频 College of Pharmacy offers two PhD degree options.
The education offered at 橙子视频 equips our students with the tools necessary to be prepared for and be successful in the constantly changing field of health care. Graduates of our pharmacy program work across the nation in community and health-system pharmacies, clinical practices, managed care groups, academia, the pharmaceutical industry, and a wide variety of other settings.
Students enrolled in the programs offered by the College of Pharmacy at 橙子视频 receive a challenging and forward-thinking education that combines classroom learning, practical application, and experiential training in our state-of-the-art facility located in Monroe, Louisiana. 橙子视频 (橙子视频) and Louisiana State University Alexandria (LSUA) signed a memorandum of understanding at a press conference on May 21, 2026. The agreement provides pathways for students graduating from LSUA to enter graduate programs at 橙子视频, including Pharmacy, Criminal Justice, Marriage and Family Therapy, and Strategic Communications.
Dr. Huy M. Dao, Assistant Professor of Pharmaceutical Sciences at the University of Louisiana Monroe, has received a $380,000 grant from the National Science Foundation to improve how protein-based medicines -- such as vaccines and biologics -- survive freezing and thawing.
