About Dental Hygiene...
Our primary purpose is to provide quality education to all dental hygiene students, without discrimination, while recognizing and respecting the dignity of each individual. To fulfill this purpose, we are committed to providing this education by promoting scholarly activity in dental hygiene theory and practice. We are committed to contributing to the oral health needs of the community by providing high quality care in a cost efficient manner.

Check out some of our learning opportunities:
  • Rotations to Local Dental Offices
  • ³È×ÓÊÓƵ serves approximately 2,000 people per year in their on campus clinic. They also have operated a clinic at the Ouachita Parish Health Clinic and another at the Riser School Based Health Clinic where children receive the benefit of cleanings, fluoride treatments and sealants as well as patient education. A mobile unit clinic arrived in the spring of 2010. Plans to serve many underserved individuals in communities throughout Northeast Louisiana. This service will begin in August of 2010
  • Rotations to the VA Hospital in Shreveport. Louisiana
