About Radiologic Technology...
The Radiologic Technology Program is administered by the Radiologic Technology Department of the College of Health Sciences. The curriculum is composed of two segments; pre-professional and professional Radiologic Technology. Pre-Radiologic Technology is concerned with instruction in general education and basic physical and biological sciences. The professional program is concerned with instruction in professional Radiologic Technology and related courses to prepare the student for professional practice. 橙子视频 is associated with several area hospitals at which students obtain their clinical education.
What careers have our graduates pursued?
Entry-Level Radiographers in Hospital Radiology Departments, Doctor's Offices, or Clinics, Computed Tomography, Magnetic Resonance Imaging, Special Procedures Departments, Heart Catheter Laboratories, Nuclear Medicine, Radiation Therapy, Diagnostic Medical Sonography
Our graduates have gone on to work at
St. Francis Medical Center, MD Anderson Medical Center, Glenwood Regional Medical Center, hospitals nation-wide

- Students spend over 100 hours in actual clinical sites during their two years in the professional phase of our program
- Partnerships with: Saint Francis Medical Center, Glenwood Regional Medical Center, Northeast Louisiana Medical Center, Northeast Louisiana Cancer Institute, Rayville Medical Center, Morehouse General Hospital, and LSU-EA Conway Hospital
- For the past two years, Radiologic Technology students have presented papers and presentations at the Louisiana Society of Radiologic Technologists annual convention

The Bachelor of Science in Radiologic Technology (BSRT) is provided by the Department of Radiologic Technology at 橙子视频, and provides an opportunity for ARRT Registered Technologists to be admitted into the baccalaureate degree program.
