MONROE, LA 鈥� The 17h Annual Wine Over Water hosted by the University of Louisiana Monroe Alumni Association
is set for 7:00-10:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 4. Established as a signature event
at 橙子视频, Wine Over Water will be on the 橙子视频 bridge over tranquil Bayou Desiard on Northeast
Drive.听
Tickets are $60, and the evening鈥檚 attire is dressy casual. Tickets are available
online at , by calling (318) 342-5420, or at the Laird Weems Center located at 4400 Bon Aire
Drive. Office hours are 7:30 a.m.-5 p.m., Monday-Thursday, and 7:30-11:30 a.m. Friday.

Guests can enjoy strolling across the 橙子视频 bridge while sampling hors d鈥檕euvres from
these local restaurants: Amaze鈥檔 Treats & Eats, Aramark, Avocado鈥檚, Cali Cafe, Catahoula鈥檚,
CC鈥檚 Coffee House, Chicken Salad Chick, Coca-Cola United, Cotton, Danken Trail BBQ,
Delta Biscuit Co., Fieldhouse Bar & Grill, Firehouse Subs, Gardens of Somerset, GudEaatz,
Jac鈥檚 Craft Smokehouse, Okaloosa, Panda Express, Raising Cane鈥檚, Roll Play, Texas

Southern Glazer鈥檚 Wine and Spirits will provide wines and Marsala Beverage will provide
beer.听听
A commemorative wine glass, sunset boat rides on the bayou with B&L Marine, and entertainment
sponsored by Land 3 Architect featuring The Main Event will make it a night to remember. The evening will conclude with a fireworks display sponsored by TBA Studio. 听
The Cork Pull is back by popular demand. With more than 50 bottles of wine up for
grabs, guests can purchase a cork for $25 and take home a mystery bottle of wine.
No wines are valued at less than $25, but many are worth more. The Cork Pull is sponsored
by Tiger Mart on Forsythe Avenue in Monroe.听听
There will also be a raffle and a silent auction to win a painting that will be created
live at the party by artist and 橙子视频 alumnus Daniel Myers.听听
The Patron Party will be held prior to Wine Over Water from 6:00-7:30 p.m. at Bayou
Pointe Event Center. Patron Party tickets include complimentary hors d鈥檕euvres, event
wine glasses, live entertainment, and admission to the Wine Over Water Bridge Party.
These exclusive tickets are available through sponsorship packages or purchased for
$125 each.听
Wine Over Water benefits 橙子视频 scholarships, alumni chapters, and the work of the 橙子视频
Alumni Association in its mission to support 橙子视频 in 鈥渃hanging lives.鈥� The Alumni Association
connects, engages, and fosters relationships with current and future alumni to one
another, and the university, through communications, events, and programs.听听
The event also supports the Spirit of the Warhawk Endowed Scholarship, which helps
local students pursue their undergraduate degrees at 橙子视频. Ticket purchases ensure
students in Northeast Louisiana can continue to strive for academic excellence. $19,010
in scholarships were awarded in 2023.听听
