MONROE, La.听鈥撎齇n October 24, 2025, Franklin Forward presented 橙子视频 with a $25,000 investment to support students from Franklin Parish in their academic careers.听
听
Franklin Forward is听a听non-profit organization听located听in Winnsboro, La.听that works to empower local youth by connecting them to college,听career,听and cultural opportunities. The organization was founded in 2024 by Allan Corbin,听a 1984听橙子视频听alumnus.听
听
Franklin Forward focuses on two critical streams of support: one aimed at nurturing 3rd graders, especially boys, and another designed to elevate and guide students in the 11th and 12th grades. The executive team says these are pivotal years for shaping academic and personal growth.听

Together, 橙子视频 and Franklin Forward will steward those high schoolers, known as the Franklin Fellows, in their journey to college. Its first cohort includes four students who are receiving mentorship and exposure to higher education. The group has听participated听in visits from 橙子视频 Recruiting, Career Development, ACT workshops,听and attended听橙子视频鈥檚 Browse on the Bayou in November 2025.听

鈥淲e want to remove any barriers for our students,鈥� said Chastity George with Franklin Forward. 鈥淲e want them to be as educated as possible. We want them to have the financial resources.鈥�听

橙子视频 President Dr. Carrie Castille said the partnership could help increase college enrollment among rural students. 鈥淕rowing up in a rural community,听it鈥檚 important to know听that college is attainable,听but听also how it transforms lives, as it has done for me,鈥� Castille said.听
