Campus Wide Identification Number (CWID)

Your Campus Wide Identification Number is a 8-digit number which ³È×ÓÊÓƵ assigns to every student.Ìý Your CWID is only valid at ³È×ÓÊÓƵ. Newly admitted graduate students receive their Campus Wide IDs in their admissions email.ÌýÌý

Hint: If you do not know your CWID, you can find it by logging into Banner using your SSN & PIN.Ìý
Click the "Student" tab - Click "Student Records" - Click "View Holds"
Your CWID is the 8-digit number next to your name in the upper right hand corner of the screen.

Access your Warhawks email using Office 365 from within the my³È×ÓÊÓƵ portal.Ìý

USERNAME: Warhawk Email Account
PASSWORD
: 6-digit birthday and the last 4 digits of your CWID (MMDDYY-XXXX)

HINT: We recommend that you download the Outlook Mobile App to your cell phone for easy access to check your email daily.Ìý

Use the portal to manage and access all your campus accounts. Ìý The my³È×ÓÊÓƵ portal gives you access to multiple campus systems with a single log in.Ìý

The Banner System

Banner is a secure self-service system where you will register for classes, check financial aid, view your fee bill, access your student records, view holds, and check course availability.Ìý The Banner system is accessed from your my³È×ÓÊÓƵ portal.Ìý

USERNAME:Ìý your CWID
PASSWORD: your PIN

If you have issues registering for classes, or logging into Banner, please contact the Registrar's Office at (318) 342-5262 during normal hours of operation.


Moodle

is the online classroom forum where you will participate in classes, communicate with teachers and classmates, view and submit assignments, and monitor grades.

USERNAME: the first part of your warhawks email account (example:Ìý ace@warhawks.ulm.edu)
PASSWORD: 6-digit birthday and the last 4 digits of your CWID (MMDDYY-XXXX)

ÌýSubmit Final Transcripts and Missing Documents

If you were admitted with a ProvisionalAdmission status, you will not be allowed to register for coursework beyond your first semester until your missing docuements are received and recorded by the Graduate School.ÌýÌý

The Graduate School requires copies of your official transcript(s) from all post-secondary education institutions showing your coursework AND degree conferral.Ìý If you submitted official, "in progress" transcripts in which your degree was not yet conferred, we require an official, final transcript which shows degree conferral.Ìý

If you have a hold for Immunization Records, you must complete the web form located in your my³È×ÓÊÓƵ.Ìý The Medicat web form can be found in the quick access box of the my³È×ÓÊÓƵ landing page.Ìý

Financial Aid

All domestic graduate students who wish to apply for federal loans should file a free (FAFSA) Federal Application for Student Aid.ÌýIf you receive financial aid, you can accept or decline your loans through . For more information, contact the ³È×ÓÊÓƵ Office of Financial Aid.

³È×ÓÊÓƵ offers a limited number of Graduate Assistantships, which include a tuition waiver, to students on a competitive basis.Ìý Guidelines for qualification and available assistantships are posted on our website at this link.

Advising

³È×ÓÊÓƵ does not place advisement holds on graduate students.Ìý However, registration processes vary by department.Ìý If you have any questions concerning advisement, check with your Graduate Coordinator for more information.Ìý

New graduate students are typically assigned to their Graduate Coordinator for advisement their first semester.Ìý If you have not received an email from your program with an assigned advisor, there is a complete listing of graduate programs with links to the graduate program pages here.Ìý These webpages contain the contact information for all Graduate Coordinators.

Register for Classes

To look up available classes Click "Registration" - Click "Look Up Classes."
To add or drop classes Click "Registration" - Click "Add or Drop Classes."

Attend Orientation(s)

³È×ÓÊÓƵ offers several orientations for graduate students:


Student ID Cards

Graduate students who wish to access campus services need a Student ID Card.Ìý Any graduate student who needs an ID can obtain one through Warhawk ID Services.Ìý ³È×ÓÊÓƵ Online students who wish to have a student ID, and do not live in Monroe, should contact Ida Wilson, Assistant Online Student Advocate, at wilson@ulm.edu.Ìý

Parking Permits

Graduate students who operate a vehicle on the ³È×ÓÊÓƵ campus must register their vehicle with the University Police and display a decal in the lower left corner of their rear window.Ìý Information about registering your vehicle is available on the University Police website.


Pay Your Bill

Monitor and pay your fee bill online using .Ìý Watch the University's Important Dates Calendar for scheduled purges for non-payment.Ìý Pay your bill, or set up a payment plan, by the Regular Registration Payment Deadline to avoid having your classes dropped.

HINT: The purge includes Graduate Assistants who get a tuition waiver but have unpaid fees.Ìý

Download the Office 365 Education Suite using your Warhawks email.Ìý ³È×ÓÊÓƵ students have access to full Office applications of Word, Excel, OneNote, PowerPoint, Publisher, Access, and SharePoint sites to use as long as they are a student at ³È×ÓÊÓƵ.Ìý
