Research Compliance Training - IRB

橙子视频 is currently registered with the University of Miami's CITI training program. As of November 2008, IRB training is mandatory for all 橙子视频 faculty, staff, and students聽participating in human subjects research. Currently, this training is valid for two years. To register for the online training courses please follow the instructions below:

• Go to the . This link leads to the CITI and Registration Page. 聽Please follow the link for the NEW user.

• Step 1. From the drop down menu, select 鈥淯niversity of Louisiana at Monroe鈥� from the 鈥淧articipating Institutions鈥� category.聽

• Step 2. Follow the instructions to select your user name and password.

• Step 3. Enter your name.

• Step 4.聽Enter your official 橙子视频 e-mail address. All accounts registering with any other e-mail will be deemed invalid.聽

• Then click the 鈥淪ubmit鈥� button.

• The "Curriculum" page will appear.

If you are a 橙子视频 employee, professional, graduate, doctorate or post-doc student, select the following courses:

- Question 1: Conflict of Interest course
- Question 2: Social & Behavioral Research Investigators course
- Question 3: if you are a new user, select "I have not previously completed..."
- Question 4: Social & Behavioral Responsible Conduct of Research course
- Question 5: select, "Not at this time"
- Question 6: select, "Not at this time"
- Question 7: Revised Common Rule course
- Question 8: Disaster Planning for the Research Enterprise
- Question 9: Running a Virtual IRB Meeting

- Question 10: Research Security: [Research Security Training (Combined Course)]

Then click the 鈥淪ubmit鈥� button. Please complete the correct module. Do not complete IRB Members Reference Resource group unless you are a member of the IRB committee. Validation of this status is required by all investigators completing this module. Otherwise, your selection and training is聽deemed invalid. This module聽is available for you to view as reference material only.

If you are a 橙子视频 undergraduate student, select the following courses:
- Question 1: Conflict of Interest course
- Question 2: Student Research investigators group
- Question 3: if you are a new user, select "I have not previously completed..."
- Question 4: Social & Behavioral Responsible Conduct of Research course
- Question 5: select, "Not at this time"
- Question 6: select, "Not at this time"

Then click the 鈥淪ubmit鈥� button.

• The next page is a verification step. Select "No" to continue to the Main Menu.
• You are ready to begin your online training.
• Select "Enter" hyper link under the status of your training and follow instructions on the screen.
• Modules may be completed at different times; however, you must complete the modules in the order in which they are listed.
• 橙子视频 reserves the right to request that investigators complete additional modules as deemed necessary.
