Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology

The master's degree program in Speech-Language Pathology at ³È×ÓÊÓƵ prepares students for a career as a speech-language pathologist. The M.S. program is accredited by the Council on Academic Accreditation (CAA) of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA). Graduate courses in Speech-Language Pathology provide students with advanced study and specialization in speech-language pathology (e.g., language, voice, phonology/articulation, fluency, swallowing, and hearing).

Knowledge and skills acquired in the classroom and clinic provide opportunities for students to acquire the professional competencies necessary to practice independently in the field of speech-language pathology. Additionally, knowledge and skills acquired in the Speech-Language Pathology research class are instrumental in allowing students to conduct independent research which is often presented at local, state, regional, and national levels.
